what movie would you watch?
 

If you had been given the punishment of having to watch ONE movie for the rest of your life, what movie would it be and why?


For me, I would have to say Mystery Science Theater 3000. Has to be something funny for me because other wise I wouldn't last a week. =)

Definately Mallrats. I've seen it so many times already anyways, I can quote the flick.

best movie ever. I would get sick of the same jokes in comedies. But if i picked a comedy it would be Mallrats.

I still haven't gotten sick of watching MST3K The Movie over and over again...that's what I'd have to go with

Another vote for Shawshank. Even just to replay the scene with Marriage of Figaro playing over the prison yard. It's a show about hope & freedom even when hope & freedom have been taken away.

Fitting for such a situation, I would say.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, must've watched it over 100 times and I still find it funnier every time I watch it.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day, you cannot get bored of this movie
or
Star Wars: Attack of the Clones/Return of the Jedi (because they're so entertaining!)

Fight Club; I've seen it about 50 times and it never gets old.

its just so pathetically inane. wouldn't bother me at all to have to watch that one over and over.

Super Troopers

Quite possibly the funniest movie I have ever seen. There are so many funny moments in that movie, I smile just thinking about the movie. :)

Mallrats, or Shawshank

Shawshank Redemption. It's on TNT all the time, and I usually don't miss it. I've seen it 30+ times in the past two years, and I'm not the least bit sick of it.

As a punishment you have to watch a movie you like? I dunno could do something like Office Space or Ace Ventura 2 (but not one..) but really I think a good choice would be like Gone with the wind or some other loooong movie.. Could I do a movie series? Because I just think that would take just slightly longer to make me go completly insane

it would have to be a wes anderson movie, but if i had to pick, it would be easier to sit through bottle rocket repeatedly. that jumpsuit is great.

i don't know what movie i would pick but it would have to be either one that confuses the shit out of me so then i would have forever to figure out what i just saw....something like donnie darko or i would pick something really simple like bring it on

Godfather (or the trilogy if possible). One of the best movies ever (if not the best), and its so long. It takes awhile to understand everything.

I think it would be Withnail and i. so funny.

Chalk up another vote for Shawshank. I'll never get sick of it. I here they are finally coming out with a DVD with a director's commentary. Can't wait.

Ravenous Or shawshank are two movies that I could watch for the rest of my life. Every time either of these are on I have to watch it.

Another vote for Caddyshack

Anything by Kevin Smith or Eps of MST3k (The show is 1-2 hours long, doesn't that count as a movie?)

Fight Club or The Usual Suspects, just to see if I could figure everything out looking at clues throughout the films.

But, whatever the movie is, I'm sure I'd get sick of it eventually.

Fight Club. I love this movie. Every time I watch it puts me in a zone where I can just completely tune out my surroundings.

BBtB, I like your philosophy, and that's why I'd choose Gods and Generals or Doctor Zhivago. They're so long that I could spen time trying to memorize them or something, you know? Not the same thing over and over again.

Maybe, Reservoir Dogs, I could finally settle who shoot who in the Mexican showdown.

Could I go with something like "I, Claudius"? Or maybe the full version of "War and Peace". At 11 hours and 6.5 hours respectively, the insanity would come much more slowly.

i think mine would have to be Bad Boys. I love that movie. I remember seeing it with a friend and my sister when i was 15 in the cinema. and i think ive seen it about 50 times. and i cant wait to see bad boys 2 :)
