My great movie idea...
My great movie idea...
Title of movie: "Harry and Axel" Plot summery: Harry Callahan (from the "Dirty Harry" movies) is only seven days from retirement when he is reluctantly partnered with Axel Foley (from the "Beverly Hill Cop" movies). Now it is up to these two notorious detectives to track down and stop a bomb-planting ex-C.I.A. agent while at the same time avoid being killed by various assassins hired by mobsters to kill Callahan. The movie preview would go something like this: - Shot of exploding building. - Footage from car chase. - A clever remark by Callahan followed by a snappy comeback by Foley. - Another explosion - A shot of an angry mobster yelling "I want Callahan and Foley DEAD!!!" - Callahan firing his signature 44 magnum - Truck explosion - Shot of sexy women dancing in a night club. - A clever remark by Foley followed by a snappy comeback by Callahan. - Gun fight - Helicopter crash - Ends with Foley's signature laugh. What do you all think? Would you go see it? Do you think it would make money?

4 scenes you should think of adding:
1.) A visit to the strip club to try and get information from the Mob Boss's girlfriend with a heart of gold. 2.) Their sting getting out of control and embarrassing the Chief in front of the Police Comissioner and Mayor. 3.) Axel and Callahan then getting chewed out by their By-The-Book Chief. ("I'm pulling you off this case!") 4.) The Chief showing his grudging respect at the end, only to be further humilated by a clever prank. Add these with a Hip Hop beat and you've got yourself a hit.

Just make sure you hire that "In a world" guy for the trailer.
Deep booming voice: "In a world... Where criminals rule the streets... Where fear is the only feeling people know... And where comebacks no longer snap like they once did... One cop... stands alone." |

The only thing I see that's missing is the hot chick who works for the badguys but then falls for one of the heroes and betrays her old boss, who finds out she is betraying him and puts her in a "damsel in distress" situation which the heroes will save her from at the climax of the movie.

must seen movie
My great movie idea is...
Outlaw by Nick Love which casts by Sean Bean, Danny Dyer, Bob Hoskins, Lennie James and Sean Harris. This is a departure from Charlie Bright, Football Factory and The Business. It's a very different film, everything about it is simply on another level. The camera never stops moving, colours are earthy greens and browns, the acting by the main five actors is simply superb, Love drives the narrative at a fast pace-if you need to go to the toilet half way through, wet yourself, the embarrassment is nothing compared to missing two minutes of this film. This film is memorable and angry and exactly what British film-making is all about! Nobody could have pulled this film off other than Nick Love! see for yourself this coming friday mate! |
