CTU Rookie?
 

I haven't seen this posted and nothing in search, so...

Has anyone seen these ads for the web show 'CTURookie' (at the obvious www.cturookie.com) on Fox. And I have to wonder...are they setting things up for a new CTU agent to take over after Jack dies this season?

I saw the commercial and googled "cturookie" and found the question above on another board, very interesting idea.

I gotta think this is a way to end the season and really peak interest in future seasons.

Did anyone else think Jack will die?

You mean you think that Jack will stay dead this time? It's possible, but I hope not. I'm still pissed that they killed of David Palmer, the only fictional president I would ever vote for.

I remember reading somewhere before the end of season 5 that Keifer was under contract for seasons 6 and 7, so I don't see them killing him off at the end of this season.

Although it wouldn't surprise me - his character has had enough of this crap and the "I don't want to do this anymore" theme is prevalent in a few episodes this season. Which leads me to ask what the story will be for season 7, but that's an entirely different thread...
