Y Tu Mamá También: Play with Babies and You’ll End Up Washing Diapers.
I recently rented Y Tu Mamá También and I highly recommend that you see it if you like foreign films. I picked it up again, hoping to find out the Spanish that Ana uses when she says "Play with babies and you’ll end up washing diapers." It appears at 1:06:30 in the movie, but the point-of-view is inside the car while she is angrily storming away from the vehicle. And my hearing is bad. And I speak little Spanish. And I'm being detained against my will in a basement/ sweatshop*. Therefore, I need your help with the Spanish. What does she say? What were your impressions of the movie?
* Untrue, but send money anyways. |
I'll plug the movie in tonight, and figure out exactly what she says. I imagine it's something along the lines of Juegen con bebes y ... Damn, I can't think of the word for diapers. I'll figure it out tonight.
As for the movie itself. I liked it enough to buy it (which is pretty damn good in my book), but after watching it a few times I have found it's harder and harder to watch each time. That line is probably one of the strongest lines in the movie. |
i hated this movie. boring.. this was REALLY not my type of movie and my parents who usualy love foreign movies hated it as much as me. i dunno why people liked it so much.

I found it eh...
sex in the first few minutes of the opening... otherwise I don't know why it was such a highly acclaimed movie... |
"Cuando juegas con bebes, hay que limpiar los pañales!"

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't like the best movie ever. I thought the boys were funny and cute. I thought the girl was hot until she took her shirt off; those plastic chest-catelopes sort of turned me off.

Thanks Kurty!
