I'm sure glad the editer didn't mix in some horrid GooGoo Dolls power-ballad over the footage. One small thing I caught that I missed when it first aired is in Juliet's argument at the book club meeting. The other guy complains that it's a book that Ben wouldn't like and she begins (around 6:22) to counter with: "Here I am thinking that freewill still actually exists! On..." Nothing earthshattering but it suggests to me that a tenet of the Others' beliefs, is that Fate is beyond our control - certainly a theme toyed with on the show.
