No kidding. Green Lanterns can create whatever their little heart desires to work with and it's always a big giant hand, a bubble, or some sort of brick wall. I guess that's fairly utilitarian, but not very creative.

The whole last act was pretty lame. Stop time, turn invisible, fling something sharp at him and bitch slap Sylar up and down the plaza. He has all these superhuman abilities and he punches him? And why did Nathan have to die? Sure it's his redemption, but couldn't Peter just fly up himself? Did Peter survive the explosion? If he was going to die anyway, why not just shoot him there? For that matter, why not just "kill" him to temporarily disrupt his 'nuking up' and then wait for Claire's power to bring him back?

And did Nikki always have the super strength?

Her super strength was a Ruby Slipper. She has the power all along. Once she overcame Jessica, she had access to it directly. Turns out she WAS bat-shit crazy all along.

That was a cool moment, though, when she and Peter meet for the first time. Suddenly he's got super strength. "You go take care of your family. I've got this." BLAM!

I was thinking about why didnt Peter fly up and I was thinking maybe he can only use one power at a time? So with the melt down happening he wouldnt be able to do anything else? or maybe with the meltdown it messes him up at least so he is unable to do anything else.

I was really hoping for a much bigger fight as well, I knew I was going to be dissapointed when there was only one hour for the finale instead of 90 minutes or 2 hours.

I thought season 1 ended in a pretty anti-climactic fashion. Hopefully season 2 brings more super powered battles.

I could be wrong, but it looked like a cockroach to me. There was also a cockroach in his holding cell after Eden and the Haitian had captured him. It signifies his ability to pretty much live through anything (like cockroaches being able to survive nuclear explosions).

Great season in my opinion.

I didn't follow this season as closely as most (I missed a few episodes). But what is up with this new super evil bad guy that is worse than Syler?? The one that the little girl was talking about. Was there any other mention of this new super evil guy in any other episodes or is he going to be the new big bad of future seasons??

Whatever happened to The Haitian? After he caught up with Claire at the Petrelli house, he just disappeared.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe he's busy with the whole not exploding thing

What if Peter can only use one power at a time?

And can Sylar still be alive?

I heard in an interview with the dude that plays Mat Parkman (who might live) that the next season will explore everyone's familys and their origins. Hence the title, Volume II: Generations.

Saw an advertisement that showed among a bunch of other box-sets, Heroes Season 1, with a release date of August 28th for those who are interested. Will probably be a sure buy for me since I loved the show, heres hoping for some badass special features!

It's available for pre-order on amazon.com. I'll have to search for some other links; when the release date was announced, a bunch of sites had lists of the special features. Have a look here.

bleh. too much talk of destiny or gay flashbacks in this serie. I was still super happy i watched it but some parts should have been replaced by some action or more interesting dialogs. I'm also wondering why Hiro didn't tell his friend he would be training swords for the next few hrs. made no sense whatsoever!

I hope the new season brings in some more interesting heros/vilains. Possibly more than just 1 bad ass. What about a bad ass like Sylar that trains other minions so it can be a good vs evil super power fight!

Well, the little girl who can locate people says there's a badder man than sylar. But unfortunately, we're also about 400 or so years in the past in season 2 (judging by the preview). So that character isn't likely to make an appearance.

Does anyone know when season 2 begins?

"NEW SEASON. NEW STORIES. SEASON TWO PREMIERES SEPTEMBER 24!"

From NBC's official Heroes site, oh and my season one dvd is pre-ordered... is yours? =D

Oh and I seriously hope they work the comics into the DVD somehow, I missed a comic here and there, but as a whole they made the season flow much more smoothly storyline-wise.

There's a new spinoff website from the Yamagato Fellowship that has a five-part mocumentary about the life of Takezo Kensei, Japan's greatest samurai. Based on how the season one ended, I'm going to take a wild stab here and say that Spoiler: Takezo Kensei = Hiro Nakamura

I just finished watching the premiere of the new season - very impressive. I didn't realise how much I missed the show!

I'm in two minds about the Spoiler: Hiro=Kensei thing. On the one hand, he did change history and could possibly start impersonate him. On the other, he'd know everything about him already, and would be changing history all the time.

Can't wait for next week!

Well, unless TV Guide lied to me last month, your Kensi theories are way off.

Spoiler: When Hiro meets Kensei, he's not a man worthy of legends and bedtime stories. So Hiro helps him to be the man that he should be. But there's another complication, the woman that is to be Kensi's wife fails for Hiro. Oh, what is our geeky, time-stopping, Salary-man going to do?

With what they put on the yamagoto web site, that is what I think. Hiro will realise at the end, that Kensei is worthy of being a hero.

Tacky how??? while i thought it wasn't a "mind blowing" episode, I did feel that it moved the story along, we got to see sylar.... which I thought was great.. Where is he? who was candance, or whoever working with? and why can't he use his powers, or hers? I am feeling like the hiro story needs to move along, along with the mexican twins. Also I'm not sure how nicky is going to fit back into all of this. Either way I'm looking foward to next week when we find out more about the "boogyman".

Just a side note... is anybody else pissed off that we havne't yet seen peter's scar or how he got it??? I would have thought after going nuke that might have done it....

only way i can figure peter getting a scar and actually keeping it, would be if he gets the virus that everyone seems to be getting now, and that fights with his healing power he got from claire, somehow leaving him unable to heal that certain part.
similar (this is a stretch) to deadpool, in marvel comics. he was given part of wolverine's healing factor, but because of his cancer, he keeps recreating his scarred skin, instead of fully healing.
just a thought, anyway

The sappiness doesn't come any more syrupy than that Hollywood scene.

Question:
Spoiler: If Sylar kills Maia, does he have to kill Alejendro too to control the curse?[

Yo!! Micah's cousin has the Sharingan!!! Uchiha clan represent!!

Yeah, the entire time claire was on screen was a total bore.

@ spoiler number 1 That's a good question. Do we even know what really happens to maya if she's left alone without her brother? So far the effects seem to be black contacts.

I think this is the reason why both are still alive, Sylar don't fully understand the power. And of course he start to realize that not all power are good to have. The super hearing he got his so easily neutralize with little sound.
