I just watched the Final Destination 3 dvd. You're probably wondering why THIS movie deserves it's own thread. Well I'll tell you I love this DVD! It's got a feature called Choose Their Fate where you choose who lives or dies throughout the movie. It's not as easy as choosing live or die though. To me this feature made a 5/10 movie into an 8/10.

Of course it wasn't perfect, You can't really change too much about the film because there'd be infinite results that'd need to be filmed. This was a very good attempt though. I'm trying not to spoil anything in this tiny, mini-review.

Spoiler: My favorite choice was which side Mckinnley was supposed to jump after the fireworks shot at him. If you jump right you don't see him, but if you jump left he still frickin gets smashed but you get to see his upper body hanging out.. gross but funny as hell!

The dvd doesn't come out until tomorrow so I don't expect any quick replies but if you've seen the dvd stop by and give your opinions. I'd also like to hear what the people who saw it in the theater thought about the dvd.

I haven't seen the movie or the DVD but when I saw the commercial for it...I was blown away by the choose who dies option. I think that is a great idea. It makes me wish more DVDs had option like that instead of just commentary. I will definitely be renting it this week.

haha! yes! i rented it this weekend. great movie. i like the final destination movies because i can laugh at how they make ppl die. and the choose their fate is great! only the last one i didnt get.

if you pick MAP you see 1 sec of the map and no map she just looks away. why is that a special point to make???
