Heh. I saw it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Then again, I didn't go into it with any expectations. /shrug

I just saw it, I liked it. But I do see that they're trying too damn hard in this. Venom was a huge disappointment and Harry Osborn, who was supposed to don the Green Goblin costume as well, didn't (btw, I think the Green Goblin costume looked stupid). And Tobey Maguire looked like an asshole when wore the black suit. I never liked him much as PP/Spider-Man any way. This confirms it.

As for Sandman, this is the first time I see him and I think he's the only one out of the 3 villains that they did some justice on.

And god dammit, Spoiler: They fucking killed Harry Osborn and Venom!! Assholes! Very disappointingly, too!

Very interesting. I actually liked the movie. I enjoyed the hell out of it. I think maybe some of the other people here watched a different movie. It did help seeing it on the IMAX screen. That was a lot of fun. For the record, watching Peter mope around in the second one was very annoying. I might have to go SP1, SP3, and then SP2 as my choices. HAH!

PS, I enjoyed the jazz club scene.

Um, maybe you just love CGI?

I like the movie, i havent decided yet if i liked it any better then the first two.
There were a couple scene with bad/over the top acting and a couple of people were laughing alot at it and made me chuckle. Oh and why would you bring a baby to come see that movie and sit up front?? Cause that ruined part of the movie for me. /shrug

I really disliked this movie.
One, it had the later Batman movie's problem of trying to fit in Spidey, and Mary Jane, and Sandman, and Harry, and the black costume, and Gwen Stacy, and Venom. It was just way too much for one movie.

Two, I really didn't need a dance number in a Spider-man movie. Showing the suit making Peter act like a total dick would have been enough.

Three, Sandman goes from "I don't want to hurt you/leave me alone", suddenly Venom says "Hey, I hate Spidey and so do you. Let's kill him" and Sandman's just all "Okay cool".

Four, Spoiler: Sandman: "Sorry for killing your uncle." Spidey: "It's cool Mr. Criminal, you did it for a good reason and all.", Sandman: "Yeah cool, I'm just gonna head out now." Spidey: "Cool, you are totally trustworthy with my secret identity and surely wouldn't sell it to a paper at the first possible moment to raise a bit more cash to help your sick daughter. See ya." So stupid.

Thumbs up on the special effects, thumbs down on the horrible horrible storyline.
