At the end of aeon flux, i asked my friend what the hell had just happened, he didn't know, so we had to go online to find out what the frak happened in the movie.
Could have been excellent, sucked in the end.

All I can say is "not Advent Children." What a disappointment. Ok, that's a little cushony...Advent Children sucks. Bad.

but at the very least it looks purdy.

But yes, it is not worth buying. Maybe a rental if you want to see the pretty pictures.

I just watched Advent Children and thought it was good. It was much better than Spirits Within, In my opinion. The movie was beautiful, but I won't deny that it was lacking in spots. It felt like some of the story was sacrificed for action sequences. I guess if they wanted story they would have released a book.. Oh well, I enjoyed seeing the FF7 characters images updated. If you haven't played the game recently, prepare to be confused.

Did anyone see Shopgirl? Never saw it, but it's the only one this week that looks interesting.

Shopgirl wasn't like alot of recent Romantic comedies. I don't think it's even considered a comedy, but it has a few slightly funny parts because the characters are just awkward.. It wasn't GREAT but I enjoyed it.

Advent Children was one of the biggest dissappointments I've had in a long time. It's basically a Steven Seagal action movie with FF7 characters. No substance, no plot, only reason it exists is to make 17 year old guys happy.

I have tried to watch advent children 3 times so far always turning it off after a few min of bordom watching it. Aeon flux was pretty good though Worth watching just for the weirdness/cheesy scifi factor

I liked Shopgirl. The one thing that bugged me is Steve Martin is just so not type of guy that I would see as the businessman. It would have been much more believable with a different older actor playing the part...but I guess since he wrote it he got to star in it :P I love Jason Schwartzman though...he's hilarious.
