The IT Crowd

Cute half-hour Channel4 sitcom. Anybody watching it? The streaming version doesn't work outside the UK without some effort but they're a lightning fast torrent download.

I LOOOOVE this show!!!!

It sucks that we can't legitimately download this or watch it in the US, forcing me to turn to alternative measures.

I hope this will be brought to the US, but I also hope they don't screw it up like they did The Office.

I started watching the first episode. It was OK, but the laugh track on it annoyed me. Haven't looked at it since.

Aw, Latch, only part of the first show? I liked the 2nd better, but the best is episode 5. Some great moments. "Real horror show."

I tried episode 3 online after bypassing the UK only streaming restriction, then rapidly went back to torrents. Streaming long media is evil.

A buddy told me about this yesterday so I downloaded it last night. I've watched the first 3 episodes so far and I love it. I soooo need to get me one of those phone machines for support calls.

When you find one, let me know. We need one of those at work.

I've already started answering the phone that way...

"Have you turned it off and back on again"?

You guys should sample from the show & use it. There are probably some choice segments for your voicemail recording, too.

Crazy

Based on this thread, I just finished watching the first five episodes. Pretty good. I find it impressive that this show manages to cater to the geeks while maintaining a mainstream format overall...

Also, Moss is the publisher from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, right? Didn't like him in that, but then again I didn't really care for that show in general. He's great for this show, however. I'd like to see him take on a serious role sometime... for some reason I get the impression he could pull it off.

Winner

I caught a couple episodes of this and I wasn't too impressed. I liked the Moss character as well, but it seems like he's getting second-billing to the other guy and the girl, both of whom I just find annoying. It was good to see Chris Morris again, but I think he's also under-utilized, which is a shame.

Hmmm....I was really looking forward to this series - but I have to say that I was quite underwhelmed. It wasn't bad....but it wasn't great either.
