Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0312004/ Waiting... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0348333/ Featured TV on DVD today... The Batman Season 1 Teen Titans Season 1 Wallace and Gromit: British Humor at it's best.. or so they tell me. I'm one of the american morons(as the W&G fans call us) that just doesnt get the humor in Wallace and Gromit or any other british humor short of Monty Python and Mr Bean. Waiting... Again, Going by what others, who have worked at restaurants told me.. "OMG This movie is soo accurate!" Sadly that doesn't make it good for the rest of us(mainly me.) It has Ryan Reynolds, Anna Farris, Dane cook, Andy Milonakis and the best actor/comedian in the movie, Luis Guzman. Doom I've liked Karl Urban(he's the star of the movie. I bet you thought the Rock was the star.. silly you.. and yes I'm going to keep using parentheses) for a while now, sure I didn't actually know his name when I saw him on Xena: Warrior Princess, but after Lord of the Rings I made a point to learn it. Ok, first off, It's a movie based on a video game so I cant really compare it to a good movie like.. umm.. Lord of the Rings. I can, however, compare it to other video game movies! So, on the Video game movie(VGM) scale, it ranks far higher than every Uwe Boll VGM just ahead of Resident Evil 2 but still falling short of the epic films like Tomb Raider and The Mario Brothers. Elizabethtown The band in the movie actually performed Free bird better than the current lineup of lynyrd skynyrd does. That's really the only thing remembered after waking up this morning but the rest is slowly coming back to me. I actually liked Kirsten Dunst in this movie. She was a bit eccentric and I liked that she was still animated and crazy even when there was no one around to see her. Other than that.. it was a run of the mill roadtrip/dealing with death/romantic comedy.. Just Like Heaven Can you NOT like Reese Witherspoon? She's great in everything. It didnt add anything to the whole person falls in love with a ghost genre but it was good anyways..(I'm tired of typing..) The Featured Tv on DVD this week are the first seasons of The Batman and Teen Titans. Who says adult Swim is the only thing worth watching on Cartoon Network? I just recently started watching and I was pleased to see the DVDs in the list the other day. So if you're a fan go buy/rent/steal them now!
