Hey, I dunno about all you but I really enjoyed the first Underworld movie. In fact, its one of the few movies that I can watch about 10 times in a year and not get bored with it!

I am off to go see the new one in a couple hours, I shall tell you all how it was.

I thought the 1st one was a good enough action flick to keep my attention. Beckensale is a good actress and damn hot. I would see the sequel if I had the means to get to a theatre and see it with someone instead of just go on my own.

I'll probably rent it when it is available on DVD. It's getting alright reviews I hear, for an action flick

I leave in about 20 min, hope the theater isn't too busy. It is at the largest mall in the city, a trip that I truly dread.

I didn't think the first one was that great. But then again, I didn't expect much. I'll probably end up seeing the second to continue the series.

i cant say that the 1st one really did anything for me. I'm all about vampire movies, but there just something that didnt do it for me.

The thing about this new one? It seems like it has the same exact plot as Blade 3, at least as the tailer set it up. I have not seen it yet - i think ill way till it comes on on DVD.

I loved it!!! Kate is so damn sexy!

I didn't like the way the first 25 min or so was just a big rehash on the first movie. In fact I hate it when anything does this.... books, movies, TV shows. I figure you should never see a sequal if you never saw the first one so there is no point in recaping it all.

But I loved this movie, I will defanitely be getting it when it comes out on DVD and I will most defanitly see it again in the theaters!

Nothing more exciting than watching vampires and werewolves.......shooting each other!!! Gimmee a break. I found the first one just barely good enough to keep me from walking out of the theater. Completely uninspired. And this one looks like....wait...an exact carbon copy of the first! Yay!!!!

All style. No substance.

I've got a question for everyone:
Spoiler: During the love making scene, there was a song playing that I swear I've heard before. Ths OST for Underworld Evolution is just a bunch of metal though! Did anyone recognise that song? It was slow and melodic, perhaps ambient. Thanks for any help!

Sorry Willravel, I didnt notice it, but I will pay more attention to it next time I go to it!

And yes I agree with those of you that didn't like these movies, I generaly don't like movies that are just run and gun garbage (like that crap heap that was Mr and Mrs. Smith, and Angelina is not that good looking in my opinion). But there is something about these movies that I really like. It just draws me in and keeps me excited the whole time

There was music during that scene?! I didn't notice it...but maybe because...heh heh. At risk of sounding like a pervert, I couldn't help but think about it the rest of the movie. She's just so damn gorgeous!

All hornyness aside, it was a mediocre vampire/werewolf action/horror popcorn flick. A good movie to watch on a Friday night after work, but nothing worth writing home about. Don't try to go into it expecting an original masterpiece, just a good time...oh, and that awkward feeling like you're watching porn along with a couple hundred other people.

Kate Beckensale can suck my blood any day! I thought the movie was good. I liked it. Good gore, hot chick, and a decent plot. 8/10

I thought it was great - just below the original. It's one of the movies that you have to see in the big screen, imo.
Great cinematics, nice continuation of the first, and some of the best killing scenes that I've seen in a movie.

Eh... it was good, but nt nearly as much as the first one. This one just seemed like an extended final showdown scene of the first movie. They should have just added this movie to the first one and made it a four hour movie.

Really flashy and everything, but it didn't really add much and they glossed over a lot of good shit that they could have expanded upon.
