BigBen Thank you so much for you kind words. You can send me photos whith comments on what needs to be omitted  Now, I finished a picture of Gilda's Girl, Grace. I kept messing up with the shading and the picture got darker an darker  I think I managed to pull it together at the end still capturing but a franction of Grace's beauty - Gilda is a lucky woman.Until next time, Cheers! |

Pinkie, Gilda, Sweetpea, Mal - thank you ladies I really appreciate that.
Took a day off. Got allot done, including another sketch! I give you Gilda. This was a really fun sketch because of the angle of the face and the pose. Amazingly I got the basic lines (almost) right on the first try. One of these days I'll have the patience to draw hair and clothing. PS. Yes, Grace's picture did get darker, I touched it up a bit. Thank you. That's Grace's favorite picture of me, but once again, your interpretation is an improvement on the original.

I just realized I've visited this thread numerous times without having left a reply.
Mantus, you really do have an amazing talent. Do you make a living off of it? Your sketches are simply amazing. Not to be too presumptuous - is that the right word I'm looking for? - but I'm reminded of the sketches of Claude Monet when I see these.

Been a while. I have plenty of good excuses that I am too lazy to come up with.
