love note

Sometimes I write Mrs. Clavus love notes. Sometimes I draw her little pictures to make her smile. I hide them poorly, so she won't miss them.

Now go draw YOUR sweetie a little love note...er love picture/note/thingee.

clavus, you're just too wonderful.
do tell mrs. clavus some random person on the internet said so! ;)

anyway, not too terribly long ago, i found junk mail terribly sweet!
yeah, junk mail of the snail mail sort.

hubby had left for work before i got myself out of bed.
upon my rising, i found sweet little love notes left on yesterday's junk mail everywhere!
in the fridge by the orange juice. by my coffee maker. on my desk. etc.
bestest junk mail ever! :) <3

Clavus, that is too sweet. I have written/drawn a love note in a few years. I haven't received one for longer than that.
That is a great picture...it kind of looks like a front of a card. Very good!

/me sits and wonders why she doesn't get sweet things like that

I too leave notes for my wife... just little things... I will occasionally doodle on them... alas, I have no scanner.

I always enjoy your contributions!

This is a really interesting piece..it has an air of feminity and delicacy that I haven't seen in your cartoons. Very nice.

i've never actually drawn a "love doodle" for my dear [though.. i have left drawings with hearts and whatnot on them, in his car. mainly because i forgot to take them with me, and just figured i'd keep them there].

strange thing is though, about a month ago a secret admirerer [spelling?] of his left one on his windsheild while he was working. and im ashamed to say it wasn't me...!

clavus 08-08-2005 08:05 AM

Thanks, majik. What a nice thing to say.

chelsea, you better get painting. Paint a little something for your dear's dashboard. Be sure it has hearts, flowers, and a bloody skull with the words "Back off, bitch. He's mine" in bold red letters. Ask him to display it like a parking pass whenever he goes to work.

I leave notes for my wife too, such as what I want for dinner that night! *rimshot*

Seriously though, that's a really exquisite drawing clavus. I'd write lovenotes to my sweetie, but I don't think my right hand can read.

i think i may just do that...

kick ass clavus.
nice to see your tender side.
(licks chops and lights the grill...)

once upon a time i left love-doodles.
they were among the myriad of items that went unappreciated.
i will resume someday!

Lovely. It's just so warm and loving. It comes from the universal language that fills in the gaps that the spoken word cannot express.
