Dang dobster! If you drew this during our battle, I would have conceded right then and there!
Awesome work. I'm inspired to hit up Illustrator myself. :D |
wow. you've done it again.
that bathroom is amazing. was it from your head? it's bigger than my whole house. the wood grain on the speaker is amazing. how you do it? somehow, the rest of the speaker feels a little too "computer-y" (sorry to use such technical words  ) perhaps it's just that it's a straight on shot? not sure... but it doesn't feel like it's in the same league as your other work - which is almost peerless. well done, old bean! |

Right, bloody wood grain! That wood grain is indeed a photograph. I spent so long on the other bits, that i forgot it was still there. I fully intend to draw the grain in time, but it takes so much processing power for the computer to re-render all those vectors each time. I guess i should just draw it and have it as a second file until print time. The simplicity of it is a lesson for me to finish a project in a short amount of time without too much detail whilst maintining the same style. It's important for me to learn that now, before i start trying to get work. The bathroom. In common with lots of my work lately it is a trace of a photograph. In that way the picture becomes the inspiration, but you still have to do all the drawing, honest! As i'm sill learning the programme, its useful to see exactly what ceramics look like in different light, and how fabric folds work. There is still loads to do to finish the bathroom. |
Hey chaps. This is the latest version of the bathroom. I've finalised the taps and added a bit more detail overall. Have also decided on the floor and photoshopped that a bit.
