Where in the heck in the world is Golden?

I do not have the authority to establish a new weekly topic. I do not have any sort of a mandate. In fact, I do not even have strong support to do so at home or abroad. But, since I am an American, I’m going to unilaterally declare the topic is – "Artistic Puns"

Not sure the instructor would have given me an A then...it's 'a rock and a hard place', not a 'rock and a hard thang'... :lol: (although he didn't actually specify the saying, I never heard of the second way)

Shit. Is this going to be one of those times where I try to be cool and explain some esoteric american thing to a non-american, only to feel like an ass later? Probably.

A pun is a play on words. For instance ngdawg's first picture is "caught between a rock and a hard place." Maybe that is an American expression exclusively. His second picture is "escarcot" or, in English "S CAR GO. Get it?
