Pencil Art - Champion of Libertine
I use to post my art here way back when but for some reason I fell out of the habbit. Hopefully I'll be able to kick back into it.
Anyway, here's a pencil drawing I did the other day of a warrior in one of my novels. His name is Ehnoluzio. http://i152.exs.cx/img152/1056/ehno4tfp0cn.jpg It's just a quick one, more to come soon! p.s. don't point out his left shoulder, I know :( p.p.s. thought it'd be worth mentioning - I couldn't find my 2H pencil which I ALWAYS use to draw the base of an image, so instead I was forced into using harsher pencils, F, B and an H. I cringed at the thought but, from what it provided I'm quite happy Mr.2H disappeared for a while. |
maybe try an ebony instead of a 2H to push those darks.

keep drawing!!!
i should talk... i haven't drawn anything w/traditional tools for eons.. but wow. you like H pencils for sketching? i never liked anything but B to 4B. |
Go wild and pull out a 6B to get those contrasts :)
|
Oh I would love to but when I coloured the ribbing for his shoulder pads and chest mantle the contrast took away from the detail of everything around it.
I do love my 6/8B's though. Thanks for the comments! |
I always like to pull out my bb double d x5 pencil when I'm doing my sketches
(yeah I have no idea what you guys are talking about I always just use a #2 :|) Good drawing though! :D Asta!! |
