Atypical Sessile
As a newbie please forgive any posting rules/policies I don't yet know or understand.
I won't go into it in any length unless/until I find out what TFP thinks of this stuff, but I am working on a concept set "Sessile". The dictionary term means rooted in one spot, and examples are a leaf which grows directly from a branch or a barnacle which cements itself to something. A Sessile can be something which has chosen a place to become rooted to as well. My Sessile are the face of places of power, the focal points we can see that represent so much more of what is out there that is unseen. Sessile #1, #2 and #3 - the initial sketches from the initial idea Thinking Place and a closeup - I like the idea of a place that thinks

The technique in which you compose these images is very interesting, its like these pictures are totaly organic, like made of grass, its cool and would look great engraved into a medium like wood.

Hello here too, Mead I like the idea of wood engraving. That is the cool thing about posting, the ideas and interaction allow thoughts that never originally were there. I thought 3d in clay would be neat, but now I really like the idea of relief work, block prints, you name it. Wood would be a natural in several ways eh. Now I just have to find out how to do that stuff and then do it.

I'm going to bump all my art threads - attachments uploaded to TFP are going to be deleted as per http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=123398, and I would like to put this stuff out there one last time
