It looks pretty damn good as it is animosity! The only thing it lacks is a pair of eyelids :)

I take it you're not entirely satisfied with it as it is. What else do you want to add or change?

yea... I can't seem to get the eyes how I want them. Normally eyes are my easiest task. I'd also like to work on the hair. She has gorgeous hair.

Yes she knows. She asked me to do it last week(I'm a sucker for a girl with a pretty face).

The eyes are great except they don't have eyelids. And as for the hair I also think it's fine the way it is but then again I haven't seen her hair so I can't say if you need to work some more on it or not.

I am just really self-conscious about this drawing because I really like her. I know it is one of my better works, but I dont want her to see it and be like.... "eew..."

Yeah I know what you mean by that comment.. alot of 'that' kind of work I've done and just hidden and said that I couldn't finish it cause I didn't know how they were gonna react.. oh well.. >_<

Nice work. One thing you might want to try with the eyes is toning them down very slightly. Even though eyes are described as "white", even when a person's eyes are very bright it's usually a mid to low grey/blue/red colour. Even if someone's eyes are wide open and in fairly direct light, there tends to be a lot of shade from the eyelids/lashes/brows and the curve of the eye itself.

Awesome! You will have to let us know how she liked it. I imagine she has to be one of the most critical observers as it is a painting of her. Though, I can't imagine how she could be dissapointed in that! Great job!

Hmm... Just read the other thread about this girl. Sounds like you have your head on straight about the whole thing. Hey, if nothing else, you have a whole lot more people out there (I'm one) who really respect your art.

She really did like it. She was excited. The girl is really a great girl, but I do not have the patience for w/e mind games she is trying to play with me. :|
