Stolen Souls
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...oulStealer.jpg
A drawing I did on the back on my english notebook... Supposed to look like the "man" (Originally a demon, but, minus the horns, hes not all that impressive as a demon) is having is soul sucked out of him into the sword. I thought it came out semi-decent. Comments are welcome, and criticism encouraged. |
Great to see you posting drawings again krwlz – it's been a while since we last saw some of your work.
I really like this piece of work. The theme is original and the shadows are emiment! The only critique I have is his chest. The right side should've been lowered just a tad to make the position 100% correct. His body isn't turning enough to the left to expose that much of the right side. |
I will agree Nancy, however, what looks to be his right side, is supposed to be his "soul" lifting out of his body. However, it doesnt look like that at all. It looks like I am seeing too much of his right side. Oh well, done in ink unfortunatly.
Thank you for the compliments though! |

Forget about what I said then, hehe. Since the right side isn't his chest then the postition of the body is correct. So it's done in ink but you could still fix it. How about if you make it more obvious that the soul starts from the chest by making the soul more dark? |

A little more work, and I think it looks better... Still trying to figure out where to go with the soul around the chest... darker might do it. |
I like it - very dramatic shading. Something about his hand is really neat. My eyes are drawn to it!

I really think that making the soul around the chest would do the trick. Or perhaps it'll be even better if you added some more effects somehow. |
I never noticed the "extra" right side.. I always saw it as his soul leaving his body..
Either way on a funnier side... This is EXACTLY what a friend of mine did in D&D to the god of the seven hells. hahaha. |
That's really good. A lot better than the rope w/ a not that I drew on my notebook yesterday. :)
