i got bored so....
 

i ripped apart one of my piece of shit guitars and painted a Canadian flag on it.

hell i don't know!.....

i rumaged through my dad's garage and found a flat white.........hang on a sec......i'll go see.......


latex........yup.....nothin' special.....i didn't even care too much about it.....shitty guitar and like i say...

i was bored.

this guitar just hangs on the wall anyways so....next time i get bored(seeing as how i got a slim idea of what it's about) i'll sand it all down to bare wood and give it a try..........

til then........when we jam......we can flick bottle caps at it. :thumbsup:

It's interesting that you decided to use latex paint, I wonder how this will effect the resonance and the rebound of your flicked bottle caps. I suspect oil based paint would have more "bounce".

What kinda of a bored airbrush do you use? It looks nice, did you use friskit or tape?

the guitar is red in itself........all i did was draw a maple leaf cut it out and fixed it with tape.........taped off the two ends........sprayed 'er white........couple hours later........peel all the tape off and that's it..........a bit of under spray is in a spot or two but.........just a quick thing i did i guess.


so no airbrush here........

nice looking guitar! if i were canadian, i'd be proud to play that. does aftermarket painting effect the sound of a guitar? just curious

nope.............no problem with the paint.........i ripped all the guts of it out....pick-ups,bridge and knobs.....
