Very cool stuff. What kind of pens did you use?

A friend recently turned me on to Pilot V Razor Points "Extra Fine". They come in five-packs for like $4.50. I use to use Rapidographs, but ya know, these work EXCEEDINGLY well. Cheap, reliable, they don't clog. They are just "ready to go". They also have a more "organic feel". Tech pens are too stiff, unless your into drawing architecture plans...

Very cool man. There's an artist who sells prints on Telegraph in Berkely who has a similar style but he uses pencil.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I have been trying to keep my sketchbook alive lately. this happes to be the first "finished" page. I'll post more... however these take awhile. :D

You should do a new one for 2003 and post it Mr. Daniels. Seriously!! I encourage all of you to walk the walk. Doesn't matter the level of your abilities... the trick is to just keep making. My own goal is to finish my two current sketchbooks by 04. :D

You're right, ofcourse. Right now I put all of my creativity in corporate websites... that's no excuse not to do any free designs or sketches anymore. Thx for the encouragement ;)

Great piece.. are you a fan of Crumb? very similar to his work.. I really like the style.

I have heard that many times... "Hey, your stuff looks like Crumb!!". It's cool. Yeah, I was VERY influenced by Mr. Crumb. I love his stuff!! LOVE IT!! I highly recommend everyone grab his Big Coffee Table book of Comic Art... rocks!

U mustve been really stoned when u drew this (4:20) lol. Very good nontheless. There is alot happeing in the drawing and i like that. Very good....i can actually stare at it for a very long time.
