the most amazing cake i've ever seen
2 Attachment(s)
a friend of my mom's is an amazing cake artist. she made this cake for a party for my son, he's 7 months. he's just starting to eat solid food (and didn't have a bit of this cake - he's only got two tiny teeth) but we sure enjoyed it.
i've included the "in the fridge" photo for scale and the other for detail. the "sesame seeds" on top are actually rice krispies and the "ground beef" was crushed up chocolate cookies and icing. it tasted even better than it looks. |
Giant Hamburger's gonna love this! haha
|
That is fucking WICKED.
|
All hail!
Giant Hamburger? Can we have your words of wisdom on this? |
I wonder if the cake tastes of hamburger :hmm:
by the way I thought we were only allowed to post our own work here? |

I guess this is an exception to the rule. You can't have your cake and eat it. |

eating it was hardly work! |
Hail DB!
That is the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. The only place it belongs is in my belly. It's a good thing for Mrs. GH that we're already married. The things that I could do to that sweet, sweet burger. I have to go take care of something, -GH |

Such a bad idea returning to this post - that hamburger cake makes me hungry :| |

I think I love you. Yours in sanity, hu-man |
That is amazing. Any ideas on how long it took to make?
|
i'm going to have to show this cake to a friend of mine who is all into creative baking & cooking. she's gonna love it!
|
That couldn't be more awesome...unless it was a real burger of equal size.
|
that is great, she should market her talents nationwide
|
I love it, but I guess that eating it would be a bit strange for me. I'm eating a big burger, but it tastes like cake... I know my brain, and I also know it wouldn't have caught on so quickly
