Airbrush problem - no air pressure
I pulled out my Badger Anthem 155 after it had been sitting in a shoebox for about 2 months to find that I get no air when I push the trigger.
The problem is something in the gun. I know this because I can unhook the hose from the gun and open the Propel can and plenty of air comes out. It's just when I hook it up to the gun that nothing gets through. It's only been used a few times, and I always cleaned it well with paint thinner and water after each use. If there was paint clogged I wouldn't think that would restrict the air flow though, would it?. The trigger springs up and down nicely, so the trigger isn't jammed. The manual says nothing about this problem. Anybody have any idea what might be wrong? I have a few things I need to paint and i'd love to be able to use this. Thanks |

It still isn't working. The problem seems to be with the valve though. I took the whole valve off, and can press on the 'valve trigger' (the thing the real trigger presses to open the valve) and nothing happens. Sometimes a little bit of air comes out, but never very much. Do you think its something with the washer seal in there? Maybe it isn't moving with the trigger. I'll try lubing it a bit...
