thanks, if anyone is interested in more of my work i have more at http://hometown.aol.com/itslikesalad . Its pretty corny, it was just to put up my artwork because some of my friends enjoy it.

Im going to school to get my bachelor degree in Forensic Science and the answer is no, i didnt start watching CSI before i made that decision

very nice work MaoZeAl - you've definitely got some skills!

Your line is pretty rough though which means that you either started late at drawing, that you don't draw very often or just haven't thought of improving your technique which I think you should. Then you'd get a steady hand which will allow you to make smooth and coherent lines..

talking about the self portrait? Think thats what the teacher wanted us to do and i do whatever gives me a good grade. We didnt shade the self portraits till last, he wanted us to do a contour drawing of our faces.

I think what she means is that your line work in general looks rough. i would have to agree with that. I like your painting alot though ^_^

Just paint from the heart. That's all you need to do. Don't worry about other people's ideas and judgements. They are only borne out of their sad experiences. You have a passion. Follow it.
