I'm looking for some help on creating a band logo/picture for a few of our flyers/demo releases. If anyone could possibly help me out, the band's name is Despite Hope. I'm looking for something along the lines of a fallen angel and/or a withered rose. Thanks for all of the help ANYONE can give me, I'd be very interested in seeing what anyone can cook up and I'd LOVE to see a variety of people's entrees.

Awesome pic, I like it a lot. I want it simplistic, and I dig that idea, a lot, that's actually the perfect pose. If at all possible, something like that, hunched a little lower with a black outline. I'd prefer simplicity, though, and thanks for the help, Animosity!

Sun Tzu: Those are awesome! I love them both! Is there any way that you can get a cursive and very loopy font for the rose pic, though?! That'd be so awesome, I love the way they look and "feel". Thanks. And to anyone else interested, please keep posting everything you possibly can! I need as many pieces of art as I can get so any additions would be much much appreciated!

Yeah that would be easy to do. Here are some fonts that I think may be capturing what your talking about, but Im not 100% sure. Let me know which one fits what your vision is.

I figure I give a brief description/background of the band, as requested by Lewis. Alright, the band is a hardcore/screamo/post hardcore band. I guess that if you wanted to hear the sort of music that is, look up bands such as Emery, Norma Jean, Underoath. The band is built through technical guitar riffs, heavy drum breakdowns, ear shattering vocals, and a consistent edge. We're all 5 of us (2 guitarists, drummer, bassist, vocalist) very open minded and anything that could be cooked up would be awesome. It really should be up to artisitc interpretation, and if you would like to create something, that'd awesome, but whatever vibes you get after listening to the bands mentioned above combined with the name "Despite Hope" we'd be happy with. Our songs are generally of political ideals, life consideration, and the dreams one has.

Of course of course! We're in the business of replacing band members right now, though, AND writing new stuff so it really won't be for a while if we do, at LEAST another year. What we'll end up using these images for are probably flyers and what not, maybe a t-shirt design once we get the money all in order.
