the red fez on the wall is a great touch. as for my contribution i'm new to gradients. i've always been a flat color user. anyone have any tips (drawing in illustrator)? and any suggestions on how to make it look like a punch and not a love pat on the nose? |

Try this- make angry eyebrows over the turtle's eyes. That may make it look like he's hitting, instead of patting. |
Dug out the scanner to scan in this pencil drawing and then used airbrush in photo re-touch software.
Edit: posted a crappy version of this last friday. Found time to improve it. |
