i made a belt out of bamboo aswell but i gave it away(so no picture)

Wow, that's cool. Is the power source the brownish cord up the center? It blends in really well with the other ropes.

thnx... yea its a very old house and the electric is old. i wanted to cover this ugly bulb that was hanging in the middle of the room.

my theme is all messed up. i was going for nautical... i have a lobster cage hanging from my ceiling, & old wooden buoys hanging on the side of my windows.

i was going to make shades/blinds for my windows out of some black walnut that i have but i didnt have the time(thus the bamboo shades/blinds) then after i got those i found a ton of bamboo out in the woods(thus the bamboo lamp shade)

so now i call my room beach theme...

sweet! i want lampshades like that!
