A group of Fremen travelling in the deserts of Arrakis, on the back of a Giant Sandworm

I've been doing some experimentation with making pictures in Corel Draw, and then adding effects in Photoshop.
Aside from some simpler stuff I used in a project for uni (a guitar and a speaker), this is the first one that I'm really pleased with the end result.

Big dune fan here.. so you don't mind if I seriously crit it do you? I think you should have spent more time on the worm than you have on the background?? Add maybe some teeth to the worm, work on the three segmented mouth abit more, or perhaps go for the traditional idea of the huge circular opening for a mouth. The worm is your focal point of your picture and yet I'm drawn to the detail in the back ground. And the fremen usually ride the worms in a straight line on it's back.. perhaps draw some small hooks from the men as well

Anyways all is good And thanks for giving me a few memory flashbacks into my child hood.. not that it was that far gone or anything...

Havent read Dune books in years. Great work on the dunes in the background. I like the coloring of the sky too. You may want to reshape the foreground a bit though. It looks like dunes in a the very near background then a drastic terrain shift to flat sand. The dunes should either be further in the background or the foreground should also be a dune. Great job on the coloring.

Cheers for the feedback, I think I'll give it a reworking and incorporate some of your suggestions.

Ah, that is a great work of art. My father is a big fan of the dune series, and i've seen the movie. Good job!

that worm bothers me. i don't like it at all. the environment is a lot nicer, the worm is almost a different aesthetic, sort of elementary looking. no texture at all.. i'd like it more without the worm.
