Demon Pillar Model
1 Attachment(s)
This is static mesh i created for UT2003 (I'm a level designer for a mod team) it weighs in at aorund 800 polys for the pillare and gargoyle. each wing was a seperate peice(1 peice, placed twice, 1 mirrored, only aprox 80 polys) in case i don't want it on all of them... here lemme know what you think(the textures and maybe the UVs are onyl temporary(textures from ut2003))

i don't understand all that jargon you were talking about, but i think that "ut" stands for unreal tournament right? i think it is pretty cool that their are tools to modify and build upon games. i never really got into those games, but i still think it is a good idea. the gargoyle thing looks pretty good from what i can see of video game design, and the pillar is very phallic, which goes well with those types of games. big guns, big pillars, small weiners.
good job mars.. |
ouch.. drove that point home didn't ya Anal :p
Yeah that looks cool.. was doin some stuff for quake a while back.. did like one level.. veeeerry basic, but that looks cool. My skills in Max aren't even that good.. groovey anyways :D |
i think that came off a lot meaner than i meant it.

I like it, but i think the wings are positioned a little strangely... maybe you could tilt them a little more (ie make the sharp edges at the bottom of the wings point more backwards) and curve them them a little more (bend them around halfway but a bit closer to the body so the tips are pointing more downwards).
really hard to explain without doing some modelling myself, but i hope you got the idea... |
It's pretty nice. I can't wait to see the finished product. If that is the finished product, I suggest more details. ;)
Still, great job though. |
I'm trying to build alevel on a deadline.. hehe so if I got time for more details, there will be more details, if I don't, there simply won't be more detials.. hehe and thats the way it goes.

I liked that it's impressive and better than what I could get done
