Sarah Michelle Gellar recolored
 

I was inspired by terboh (by his recolor of a boat in the photochopping section) and i wondered if i could do something like that, his turned out way better, i admit but i think this is not bad for a first try?

She does look nice with blue eyes. Without zooming int farther than the browser will allow, it looks like a clean edge on the shirt. It could just be me, but it looks like the whites of her eyes picked up a bit of the blue. The vackground looks fine, and the skin tone looks good, but the hair color seems a bit too yellow. For a first time, it's definitely good.

The chain and the hair are a bit off-colour but other than that you've done a great job, kudos!

the whites of the eyes i purposely made blue to make you notice them more, i know the skin tone is a bit orangish yellow, i guess she used too much of that fake tan shit ;-). but i couldnt get anything better:-).

I was going for a weird glowy effect on the chain, maybe its too weird :-)

I dont have an excuse for the hair color but i just couldnt get it all okay, when it was less yellow it looked too dull lol.

One of the eyes looks bluer than the other.. and the purple just looks freaky..

loli think it looks bluer because originally it was darker, so when i did color balance it hit the gray part more than the lighter gray part:-)

I like what you've done. I have a friend with violet colored contacts and she definitely turns heads. Though, she's not nearly as cute as Gellar. I've always wanted blue within blue since seeing Dune as a kid. Yeah yeah, geek here :)

:-) im glad you all comment on the eyes, i guess you could say i sort of have an eye fetish (not in a gross perverted sense) but i dont know, i just find eyes very beautiful and intricate, like yourneverthere's avatar, thats really nice...:-)

The skin looks better in the recolored one for some reason. I don't care for the hair recolor, but the skin is really improved. Good job.

i think its because in the original picture her skin looks like someone ran a dodge brush right down the middle... :-)

Theres a great tutorial on colorizing at Worth 1000.com. You should check it out, but I gotta tell ya, those are pretty darn good. Better than I could ever do...
