5x5" squares on illustration board. <img src="http://thisdrenchedsky.org/solo/art/moody.jpg"><BR> <img src="http://thisdrenchedsky.org/solo/art/envy.jpg"><BR> <img src="http://thisdrenchedsky.org/solo/art/anger.jpg"><BR> <img src="http://thisdrenchedsky.org/solo/art/happiness.jpg"> we had to illustrate feelings/emotions through color. picking different angles, and areas of the face for each portrait. blue being moody/sad. green.. with envy. yellow/purple for happiness and red for anger.

the green one looks like the green giant i should have stylized it more by using really frantic, splotchy paint marks or something. to make it even more characteristic of jealousy. but bah it was the night before class and had to paint really quickly before 3am approached ;P i paint what i see. i never thought about a style then.

Good color schema. I sense a brooding warmth in your work. It reminds me of some of the symbolist painters like Odilon Redon or even Munch.

That is really good. I know nothing about art but yours stands out. As someone else noted, positioning the colour themes properly brings out the best effect. Well done!

i liked the way the nostrils were flared in the red one. that subtle difference conveyed more emotion than the color even. well done.

Wow, it's amazing how all the colours and subtle characteristics work together. Although i don't really know much about art myself, i can definitley feel those emotions when i look at them. Especially the red one, good work
