actually.. the shading and abstraction of the picture put me in mind of giger.. it's very alienish.. though obviously a bit less detailed, i was reminded of his pictures that seem to be eched from a metal plate.. do you know the ones i mean?.. also looking at it again i can see that the robot from metropolis could have been an influence in this one.. great work!
