OLD TEXT: This is one I just did and am gonna color soon i think(maybe.. who knows?) so I'm postin it here for crits on the proportions(anything would be appreciated as usual) cause I will edit it further(originally 2 of the arms were too long) before I color if I get any good suggestions ^__^ Last edited by marsfyre; 09-16-2003 at 02:48 PM.. |

the guys left foot looks angled wrong and their arms in the middle look a lil long..

i think that you should try doing body sketches.. your forms seems to be a little bit off.. alot of people do light sketches of bodies first until they get the proportion and perspectives right.. then go in with your cartoon lines and ink them in so they look more solid.. just an idea.. but i think you should keep it up regardless! nice job.

Sweet mother....
well you can color good, but your anatomy knowledge seems to be really basic. The girl's face looks like she just crawled out of 3 mile island... like her right eye has mysteriously located itself on the side of her face. Anyway, go to www.polykarbon.com for some super basic structure help (esp on faces). Also, go read Burne Hogarth's Anatomy, dynamic figure and dynamic drapery, practice for a few years and you'll be able to draw like a mofo ps, i hate to be mean but that girls face is sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad: it bothers me to no end |
