Inca style painting



I did this in 1991.
Don't know why - it just popped out of me.

I find that art that is done through this way is the best.. most of my art is inspired from inside or yeah just happens.

It looks like something that should be on stained glass in a coffee shop.

I really like the asymmetrical nature of it, the minor differences. That and the colors really makes it look like folk art.

What's the medium?

Yes that would be nice.
The medium is just normal wall painting color on brown wrapping paper.

hmm well you say that you did it out of nowhere which i find really strange just becuase it is a particular peice afterall. I mean not many people just wake up and think to pain something inca style....... then again....haha

no but seriously have you done others? it would be interesting to see more, its not like this stuff is common.

Well, I am wondering myself about that.
I did no research on Inca-style and I did not even have any special interest in this.
It's my style to just start drawing or painting and often I am surprised as any other one about the finished work.
Maybe it has to do with the meditation I did very regular in the year the painting was done...
