Hi, I painted this in 2001, it's called "Newly Found Power" ... it's for sale

it's 24"x36" acrylic on stretched canvas.

There are a ton of books out there that help beginning artists figure out how to get started. One that I liked a lot was "Art and Reality" which was recommended to me by an artist who lives in hawaii, named Lew Shortridge... excellent advice.

awesome thanks. i've always wondered how to sell art or whatnot. because i think i have the talent just not so much the business sense

but i could acquire that definately. and art just always inspires me to keep creating. so keep it up

Yeah, thanks for the book tip-- I'm kind of in the same boat as anti fishstick. Great stuff. Reminds me of a painting I did... Iwas doing a series based on the absolute emotions that a song conveys (versus ones only certain people feel, if that makes any sense) and I did one to Sweet Surrender by Srar McLaughlin (sp?). It looked a lot liek that, without the circular bits. Anyway, great work, great site, keep it up and good luck!
