my math homework

look what silly art school has me doing for the first day of math class :P

to finish drawing the other half of her face by scale and measuring.

Very very nice. Much better than anything I could do myself. There's a little spot though right beneath the eye that looks a little odd.

Heh, when I saw the topic, I thought someone was going to post a scan of their math homework as art.

o that little mark is probably a pencil mark from measuring :x

i fixed the hair. and the eye.. she looked like she needed more eyeliner or something.

I think it looks great. And it's a great excercise for an artist... you learn a lot about proportion this way. I know, I've done it, and you're right it is a pain in the ass. But well worth it. Plus the fact that the original ad is in there could be a comentary about the incompleteness of our world as portrayed by advertising. Maybe you could do a series of works that show what's going on outside the ads.

Wow. I can't believe I just typed that. I spent WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long in art school. How my profs would be proud
