Our friend was having a housewarming party and requested that everyone bring some sort of wall decoration as there is a very large and very bare wall in their living room. His invite mentioned macaroni art, in humor I'm sure, but Starkizzer ran with the idea and inspired by some things she found on the web, made this:



A bit of "modern macaroni art" as it were.

Thanks everyone. I didn't realize he had posted this and then when I did I forgot to respond.

I want to make more of these. At least two more for our friends as they way they have it hanging now, makes it look lonely and out of place. I think two more with different colored backgrounds would make the wall look awesome.

I also want to work on figuring out how to make the starbursts into free hanging pieces, for Christmas ornaments perhaps. I am thinking if I glue them together on wax paper, the glue should be able to come up fairly easily. Unless anyone else has any good ideas.
