Reflections - a Twofer
 

I didn't want to make two different threads for these two related paintings.

The smaller one I did first, and liked the thoughts and processes that went into it. So I decided to do a second one with some slight changes.

They are meant to be hung in any orientation.

Reflections is 18" x 24", Reflections II is 36" x 24" - both using acrylic paint.

There are so many kinds of reflection, ways to reflect, things to reflect on. These paintings were my form of meditations on Reflection.

I must say that I think these are the best I've seen from you.

Of course, this is subjective, but there it is.

I love your colour choices. The one on the right is the most alluring to me. :)

Hey Baraka, I know that some pieces work for some folks, others for others. Actually lots of my own stuff doesn't always work for me. And yet I have had some people get seriously moved by just those artworks that I thought left something to be desired. Thanks for the comment. It is all grist for the mill :)
