Make an Album Cover
1 - Go to Random Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to Random Quotes - The Quotations Page The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. 3 - Go to Flickr: Explore interesting photos from the last 7 days in FlickrLand... Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. 4 - Use paint or photoshop or similar to put it all together (it's album art, so make the picture square). Open the photo, and type in the band name and album title. Here is my album.

Ok... The cover? I like. The title? Not bad. But, the band name? Well, I guess there's been worse.

I did this several times in the past on other boards, but can't find them (the boards have all gone down).
I'll do another one tonight.

I'm at work, so I was limited to using MSPaint, but it turned out better than I thought it would..

There's one of these in the Nonsense forum. I made a cover for there, but it was over a year ago, and I don't have Photoshop or anything, so I spent like a week trying to find a program that makes an image "squared".

I know, and I have it installed, but I'm only on page 25 of a 200 page manual that is supposed to turn me into a GIMP wizard of photomanipulation. I read the previous two chapters 10 months ago, so my procrastination at this point is in full-effect.
I'm still not sure if I know how to auto-resize an image in GIMP, but I've got some nice fonts installed from when they mattered to me about 4 years ago.

I REALLY like the title. The Universe is winning. The full quote, "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."
The Art looks like it could be a Bob Dylan cover. The band name is ridiculous though.

I really like the Handbrake one. I think it's great for an album art cover. Evocative, yet simple and not over suggestive.
