I see what you were trying to do with the dress and the idea looks good :) Tone down the glow on the dress, make it abit tighter around the edges, I think it's the pixel option that allows you to do this.

I can only offer suggestions and advice. Up to you :) Tone down that noise filter just a tad, You want it to sparkly.. just not to have it look like shes just had a sequin shower :p :D

Have fun and keep up the good work :)

(note to self: do not post photo slop'd pics that have been 'drag thru' the noise filter. )

hehe

(other note to self: take a bath you dirty slob)

analinguist 07-16-2003 05:15 PM

i don't know where you got photo slop from in this posting.. but you should bathe at least every other day.

photo slop is what most of us do for fun. we get some basic image we drew or photo we ripped from the net and rape it with filters until our adobe soaked head can barely stand up.

then, with our last ounce of strength, we post it here laying bare our work hoping that kind souls will say things like, " great imagination" or "keep up the good work" or "who farted-don't blame it on the dog"

in reality, we are all just looking for some sort of 'forum' that we can find brotherhood and community. sorta like a Turkish prison, except with more chicks.

so to answer your question, the industrial revolution was neither industrial nor a revolution.

wait, what was the question?

sergi 07-24-2003 05:51 AM

I like it too.

I don't know much about pshop's finer capabilities, (use it every day for work, but don't get to do much neat stuff) don't care.

still like the pic.

I am the worst artist, stick figures. Anyways, I always have to say that I am so impressed when someone can make something like this appear. This artwork is beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Looks cool. I need to start working with photoshop more.

cheap tricks really. Its several layers of varoius transparency with different amounts of noise. I think I had some layer effect interacting between layers.

this was more of an experiment to create a glittery dress and kill time while bored. The more I look at it, the more I feel its just a cheap trick - on a technical aspect...

but it looks ok, so that's the point I guess :)

" great imagination"
"keep up the good work"
"who farted-don't blame it on the dog"
good stuff, man. everytime you make an effort, you grow as an artist. your next attempt will be that much better.
nothing ventured, nothing gained.

analinguist 07-28-2003 03:37 PM

speaking of cheap tricks, there is a funny way to make type look bling bling..
