An add I made
http://users.bigpond.net.au/TheMadHa...tuff/telej.jpg
It's my first photoshop effort...for an assignment. Umm, yeah, so what does everyone think? What's wrong with it, what can be improved etc? |
the only things i see are, extend the guitar to go to the very top so you don't see the line seperating the picture from the black, and make the headline bigger, that's all, nice job!
|
Looks good man, dunno if you realize the guitar is off center a bit.... other than that, looks very professional.
|
Thanks OMFUG, gallop. As for the guitar, yeah it is off center, mainly because the left side of it was screwed up when I cut it out of the original picture, and couldn't be arsed drawing it to fix it up, heh. :)

I think the white on jonny's neck little "too" white. I mean that the concentration of the sharp soild white comes off somewhat unappealing as it kind of blurs the area of the neck and shoulder. That same wind sweep mess happens also on his pick guard and anywhere else the white "wind sweeps" into another soild object (i.e. jonny's neck into his shirt and the pickgaurd into the guitar body.) Other than that it's cool and everyone else's comments apply. And good job choosing Radiohead-awesome band "but you already knew that.":)

i agree with the two points gallopingwanker brought up.
a) extend the guitar neck because it seems slightly tacky to show the line split. b) make the title bigger. |
try to not use photoshop filters where the viewer can tell that it is obviously done with a filter. it makes you seem generic. other than that, take gallopingwanker's suggestions.
|
The guitar being offcenter does bother me a little visually... but other than that seems to be pretty good to me..
|
Well, you've probably already turned this in, but the text is very crowded.
I also agree with analinguist on the filters. Thats a pretty generic filter. Also, the sentence "Don't believe us, or them?" doesn't make sense. |
