I painted this for a dear friend of mine whose favorite food is bacon. I'm thinking of starting a series of flying food.

Here's what I love about this--I came into the house late the night she painted this, hurried through the room where her easel lives on my way to the bathroom. It was urgent.

I noticed she'd painted something, but didn't really see what. It was dark, I was moving fast. But while peeing, I thought to myself, "You know, she should paint some flying bacon! That'd be awesome!"

Very nice.

This is quite evocative of an artist up in my area. Unless you ask, I won't send you the link, because I don't want to taint your ideas with his. But, I love his stuff, and he seems to do quite well at the craft fairs here.
