tiny paintings
 

hey.

i'm not really a painter.
mostly just a draw-er.

but once a year,
this christmas show comes around.
the display space has really high walls
that i like to cover with more than just shirts,
so i do a few paintings.
in the past, i've done 3 ft x 3 ft things.
some sold, some didn't.

this year, i'm going tiny.
no, it doesn't really solve the wall coverage issue,
so there are more shirts up there than i'd like.
without further ado,
i introduce the 5" x 4" paintings -
(each is 4 x 5, not the whole set)

that are going to open any moment
and spit caustic venom
into your eyes
but then that is the risk you take
when you fall in love.

Those are so cool. Do they sell tiny canvases or did you have to make those?

i bought the tiny canvases for less than $2 each at michael's.

i like 'em doodle..........very nice.

I really like these. The style is very nice, and seems to be giving me an indie vibe (don't know why). I think the size of canvas is perfect for the subject matter, repetition, and style.

Well they made me smile :)
