Post Your Pumpkins: 2007
As usual, I want to see your gourds! I'm obsessed, so anything is good to go.
I'll have more to come, right now I have done just 2. Spawn... Mars Attacks ACK ACK ACK! Thats it for now, I'll be carving like crazy over the next few days.

Since Halloween is all about the kids, Kipper the Dog, My daughter's favorite. Another pick from my daughter, on a really small pumpkin, Pouncer. Now, in my opinion, Scar is the most dispicable villian in Disney's lineup. And just to prove I don't ONLY EVER carve my own, here is The Man Who Laughs, (aka The Fake Joker) pattern by a fella calls himself DansBananaLoafcake. I'll admit its been a LONG time since I have carved anyone else's pattern The Tribal inspired Skull. This is a big, tall pumpkin, printed the pattern 14" tall. Unchained! This is harder than it looks. Tomorrow is the big day, and I have to work all day, I hope to just keep carving all through the evening while handing out candy. I have 3 more ;kins. maybe Mrs. JP will carve while I'm at work.

What's up, people? I know I'm not the only carver out there.
And thanks for the compliments. All the guts just get tossed away, and the carved ones get tossed in a few days. It's the nature of the beast, artistic, but only temporary.

Wow! What amazing carving. Mr. Coaster, I'm siding with your daughter on the puppy as my favorite.

I'd post mine, but they are the typical triangle nose/missing tooth variety and don't hold a candle to yours. No pun intended

this year and last we didn't carve the pumpkins. we used mr. potato head pieces and made mr. pumpkin-head. they looked pretty silly. not scary in the least. but no one comes to our house on the 31st, so it doesn't matter too much.
you obviously have some mad knife skills. most impressive.

Pumpkins run about $30 to $60 for a medium sized pumpkin with blemished flesh.
Add to the fact that Halloween is not a big deal here and you have one pumpkinless family.
