Post Your Pumpkins: 2007
As usual, I want to see your gourds! I'm obsessed, so anything is good to go.
I'll have more to come, right now I have done just 2. Spawn... http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/7396/spawnwebzm7.jpg Mars Attacks ACK ACK ACK! http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/425...spicwebfh3.jpg Thats it for now, I'll be carving like crazy over the next few days. |
Jamming pumpkins, as always. :D

OH GAAAAASH!!!
I so wish we celebrated halloween here in south africa :( we've got guy fawkes. "remember remember the fifth of november" but i think halloween is waaaaaaaaaaay cooler, i mean, look at these pumpkins! ?me goes to sulk now that we dont celebrate this marvellous holiday! |
More, More, MORE!!!
Since Halloween is all about the kids, Kipper the Dog, My daughter's favorite. http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/678/kipperdy3.jpg Another pick from my daughter, on a really small pumpkin, Pouncer. http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/7697/pouncerbl2.jpg Now, in my opinion, Scar is the most dispicable villian in Disney's lineup. http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/2217/scarbj5.jpg And just to prove I don't ONLY EVER carve my own, here is The Man Who Laughs, (aka The Fake Joker) pattern by a fella calls himself DansBananaLoafcake. I'll admit its been a LONG time since I have carved anyone else's pattern http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/8...olaughsgm8.jpg The Tribal inspired Skull. This is a big, tall pumpkin, printed the pattern 14" tall. http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8...alskullrx3.jpg Unchained! This is harder than it looks. http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/700/unchaineduq5.jpg Tomorrow is the big day, and I have to work all day, I hope to just keep carving all through the evening while handing out candy. I have 3 more ;kins. maybe Mrs. JP will carve while I'm at work. |
Gourd carvin' fool! Master fool, at that.
|
I like them I like them alot. As we dont really have halloween in australia, I was wondering what you do with the pumpkins after and what about all the 'inny' bits....do you live on pumkin soup til xmas? Your artistic ability is amazing!!!
|
What's up, people? I know I'm not the only carver out there.
And thanks for the compliments. All the guts just get tossed away, and the carved ones get tossed in a few days. It's the nature of the beast, artistic, but only temporary. |

Surprisingly low turnout this year... I'm dissappointed.
|
Wow! What amazing carving. Mr. Coaster, I'm siding with your daughter on the puppy as my favorite.
|
I'd post mine, but they are the typical triangle nose/missing tooth variety and don't hold a candle to yours. No pun intended ;)
|
this year and last we didn't carve the pumpkins. we used mr. potato head pieces and made mr. pumpkin-head. they looked pretty silly. not scary in the least. but no one comes to our house on the 31st, so it doesn't matter too much.
you obviously have some mad knife skills. most impressive. |
Holy crap, all the pumpkins on here are sooooo much better than mine! I also procrastinated until the night before to do all of mine :-( Oh, well. Lesson learned.
Here is my punkinz! http://a723.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...8f8fad261a.jpg http://a764.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...847b390efb.jpg http://a354.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...4d2867b551.jpg |
Awesome pumpkin carving.

Pumpkins run about $30 to $60 for a medium sized pumpkin with blemished flesh.
Add to the fact that Halloween is not a big deal here and you have one pumpkinless family. |
Nice ones, Redlemon & TotalMILF.
And Charlatan gets a pass considering those outraeous prices. |
