Post Your Pumpkins: 2007

As usual, I want to see your gourds! I'm obsessed, so anything is good to go.

I'll have more to come, right now I have done just 2.

Spawn...

Mars Attacks ACK ACK ACK!

Thats it for now, I'll be carving like crazy over the next few days.

Jetée 10-28-2007 03:31 PM

Jamming pumpkins, as always. :D

Since Halloween is all about the kids, Kipper the Dog, My daughter's favorite.

Another pick from my daughter, on a really small pumpkin, Pouncer.

Now, in my opinion, Scar is the most dispicable villian in Disney's lineup.

And just to prove I don't ONLY EVER carve my own, here is The Man Who Laughs, (aka The Fake Joker) pattern by a fella calls himself DansBananaLoafcake. I'll admit its been a LONG time since I have carved anyone else's pattern

The Tribal inspired Skull. This is a big, tall pumpkin, printed the pattern 14" tall.

Unchained! This is harder than it looks.

Tomorrow is the big day, and I have to work all day, I hope to just keep carving all through the evening while handing out candy. I have 3 more ;kins. maybe Mrs. JP will carve while I'm at work.

Gourd carvin' fool! Master fool, at that.

ryfo 10-31-2007 11:11 AM

I like them I like them alot. As we dont really have halloween in australia, I was wondering what you do with the pumpkins after and what about all the 'inny' bits....do you live on pumkin soup til xmas? Your artistic ability is amazing!!!

Mister Coaster 11-02-2007 08:23 AM

What's up, people? I know I'm not the only carver out there.

And thanks for the compliments. All the guts just get tossed away, and the carved ones get tossed in a few days. It's the nature of the beast, artistic, but only temporary.

I'm sure your son is a very nice young man, but that's one creepy-lookin' kid on the pumpkin. I'll attribute it to the medium.

Mister Coaster 11-03-2007 04:06 PM

Surprisingly low turnout this year... I'm dissappointed.

genuinegirly 11-03-2007 05:01 PM

Wow! What amazing carving. Mr. Coaster, I'm siding with your daughter on the puppy as my favorite.

Grasshopper Green 11-03-2007 06:37 PM

I'd post mine, but they are the typical triangle nose/missing tooth variety and don't hold a candle to yours. No pun intended ;)

doodlebird 11-04-2007 10:08 PM

this year and last we didn't carve the pumpkins. we used mr. potato head pieces and made mr. pumpkin-head. they looked pretty silly. not scary in the least. but no one comes to our house on the 31st, so it doesn't matter too much.

you obviously have some mad knife skills. most impressive.

TotalMILF 11-04-2007 10:26 PM

Holy crap, all the pumpkins on here are sooooo much better than mine! I also procrastinated until the night before to do all of mine :-( Oh, well. Lesson learned.

Here is my punkinz!

Awesome pumpkin carving.

Charlatan 11-05-2007 05:16 AM

Pumpkins run about $30 to $60 for a medium sized pumpkin with blemished flesh.

Add to the fact that Halloween is not a big deal here and you have one pumpkinless family.

Mister Coaster 11-05-2007 05:45 PM

Nice ones, Redlemon & TotalMILF.

And Charlatan gets a pass considering those outraeous prices.
