Basically just the picture at the top, is it recognisable? I mean, can you tell what the weapons are supposed to be?

They're supposed to go on the cover of a friend's fanfic about a duelist in his custom roleplaying setting.

Just take a look first before looking down here...

Ok, so can you tell it's a rapier with a dueling dagger (main-gauche) or am I kidding myself again?

Yup, looks great. I love dueling daggers, they're suck kickass tools.

They are looking good and recognisable to people who know anough about weapons to recognise a rapier & dagger.

I'd change the background to something a bit more intresting tho.

Look good. Only thing I might suggest is adding a little sheen to them to make them appear sharper, unless you weren't looking in that direction.
