ART early work
This thread has work that I did previous to the Mid-Period work here:
ART Mid-Period Work ...and that work preceeds my current work: ART New Work The entire universe in a state of complete contraction small version: http://www.artelevision.com/art_tfp/...erse_small.jpg large version http://www.artelevision.com/art_tfp/entire_universe.jpg |

|
I would love to have a conversation with you about this art piece. :)
How is the bull representative of the universe in a state of contraction? What materials did you use? What inspired the concept? Thanks for sharing! |
Thanks all for the comments.
Plummie, I believe art stands on its own without explanation, since each person sees things in his or her own way. Personal interpretations are fun. I just started working with no intention and this is how it turned out... It's pen and ink on paper. |
That's awesome. I love it.
|
Very impressive.
|
sexy!
|
thats some good stuff:)
reminds me of cunni...cunni.....cunnilingus. |

I am in definite awe of your work. The detail is amazing, thanks for sharing!
|
Thanks, all, for the comments!
It's always good to be here and to show work. Besides being great contributors, you guys are a great audience! |
ART, I like what you said about art being as intimate as what people choose to see... I wish more people felt that way. When I make something, my reasons for doing so and meanings behind it die end as soon as someone else sees it... I hate when people ask me to explain my art, because I don't want to influence thier personal thoughts. In many ways, to me, art is more personal for the viewer than the creator. Matthew Barney excluded :)

|
Wow how do you do those detailed regions? Wow man it looks great.
|
Thanks.
The above are done with kohinoor black ink and rapidograph drawing pens, points 000 to 0. The ones I'll post next are done with crow quill pens and india ink. |

these peices of art are driving me insane, i cant look at them for more than a few seconds without turning away. the vision is too vast what you have here is true art, please post more |
thanks, this stuff is from back in the day. most of it is gone into collections. sometimes I think of at least getting a hold of the collectors for photos or something. but I don't really hold on too hard to stuff from the past. this is what I have documented from that series - at this point anyway.
|
Very cool, very intricate detail.
|
Wow...freaky yet...intensive at the same time
|
Amazingly nice work, Art! Very detailed inks that flow nicely into the larger picture without distraction from either. Each small work seamlessly becomes part of the vision. I found them to be very intense, also.
Many Thanks, |
Wow, if it means anything to you, I think that's some good stuff :)
I'm glad that you're not just a guy with ART in his name for nothing! |
i think one word will sum up all my thoughts.... wow....
|
Thanks folks.
I like making points! |
Beautiful. Truly beautiful, vast, impressive, intense, nothing, everything, you, me, ground, wind, water, fire, brimstone...
Thanks. |
sure thing- guess I paid in brain cells for those...hope they move you...that's what they're for.
|
ART - you are an amazing artist. I've never seen your work, Im glad I have now
|
Damn Art!!!
Damn good ART!!! Really, you must have the patience of Job to be able to produce such intricate pieces of pointillism. I dearly love pen and ink as a medium and your pieces remind me why I do. |
Hey ARTelevision i dont know much about art and those things, but i know what i like and i think ur images are really great u definitely have a lot of talent
|
great stuff Art...........keep 'em comin' and thanx for showing us a part of you.
|
thanks again folks.
I'm thinking I may do some new 2-dimensional work here at the new place... |
Like everyone else has said, these are absolutely amazing! The amount of detail you put into your work is just... amazing! Do you mind if I print out a copy so that I can look at them in comfort without having to press my nose against my computer monitor?
|
If I minded I wouldn't have posted them.
Thanks... |
