My Own Comic Strip: 18 To Life
I also do a comic strip:
18 To Life I know it's hard to read at times, but I've been working on that. Tell me what you think. |
I think you ought to post your art, not your link.
I think you ought to type your copy instead of trying to do it freehand. Lettering is hard. Most comic books and many comic strips have abandoned hand lettering. As the person responsible for mightywombat.com, I think that I am oddly aroused by your drawing - http://photos-753.facebook.com/n10/1...26753_9080.jpg |
^^^Yeah...ya wanna get on that, Stillborn. My eyes ain't what they used to be...and they never were all that good to begin with. ;)
I am, however, intrigued...and eagerly await something that I can actually...I dunno...see? |
split it into more frames to break up the long paragraphs, then you can use a larger size print, it also gives a more visual effect of the length of the statement (if that's what you are going for)
nice work though. oh and the pen is mightier than the pencil ;) that will help too i think. |
Sorry, guys. There's a lot of 'em, and I didn't know if there was a limit on posting pics in a topic or not. It's been forever since I've posted here.
I do have a few that are typed and inked. The problem is the photo editing software I use is really screwy, and likes to fuck me over by saying there's been a fatal error and shutting down. So one comic that would usually take thirty minutes to draw, letter, scan, and upload takes upwards of two hours. Anyway, here's one that is inked and lettered properly: http://photos-280.facebook.com/n10/1...31280_8557.jpg Quote:
