Lad with Beast
1 Attachment(s)
I was looking in my sketchbook and realized I hadn't posted a drawing for a little while. So here is Lad with Beast - 2b and hb pencils in my black sketchbook. They are about 7" x 9" (18cm x 23cm approximately is my guess without using a conversion calculator)

Looks straight out of a children's book, Kramus. The beast looks a little sad or sheepish and the boy a little mischevious if you study closer. I thought their expressions were the same at first. Lovely job! (I like his toes, too ;) )

You are just so creative. I love your art.
/me admires her Turtles and Longneck... |
the beast looks like he's got a guilty conscience...
It's so sweet... :) |
That these come straight from your imagination with no models, etc., is simply astounding. I love your work. :icare:

I like the way you juxtaposed the angles of the two, makes it very interesting to look at and you want to see more! :)

This pair just sort of showed up in my mind's eye. They hung around long enough for me to get a drawing done. Actually I am roughing out some art for a proposed children's book my lady is writing. Fingers will be eventually crossed when it comes to that, because apparently it is very rare for a manuscript to come in tied to artwork and get purchased by a publisher as a package. We shall see.
Thanks for the positive comments, fellow TFPérs :) |
You are exactly right ngdawg.
I see the lad doing a cannonball and the beast grinning with anticipation. |
I'm going to bump all my art threads - attachments uploaded to TFP are going to be deleted as per http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=123398, and I would like to put this stuff out there one last time :)
